Leonard, in his 82nd year was the beloved husband and soul mate of Cecile (nee Hacking) for 58 years.  Devoted and proud dad of Kym (Al Melloh), Karen (Gene Ryglewicz), and Kevin Spencer.  Treasured and loving grampa of Kristine, Leanne (Joe), Erik (Nicole), Stephanie, Joshua, Jordan, Jeremy, and Taylor.  Adored great grampa of Brooklyn Lenny.  Dear brother of Dan (Pat), Suzanne  Stranks (Graham), and brother-in-law of Jack Hacking.  Predeceased by his mother Miriam (Norm), father Jack (Cis), brother Jack (Dora), brother-in-law Alex (Josie), and sister-in-law Pat (Donald).  Forever remembered by his Aunt Dorothy, four legged companion Winston, as well as many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. 

In keeping with Leonard's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A service to celebrate his life will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, "William J. Markey Chapel" 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 3:00 p.m.  For those who wish, memorial donations to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, 277 Stone Church Road East, Hamilton, Ontario  L9B 1B1, would be appreciated.
