Gary, our beloved Husband, Father and Papa, after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Heather, sons Rob (Amanda), Dru (Joanne) and sister June. A treasured Papa to Fynn, Ben and Maisy. Predeceased by parents Clarence and Lila, brothers Ern, Norm, Jack and sister Marilyn.

Gary retired in 2000 as Divisional Chief of Training after enjoying 37 years at The Hamilton Fire Department. He will be missed by many friends in the Hamilton and Smithville area, as well as his card group of 39 years. He was a talented handy man and kept his sense of humour even through his illness. We hope he is now warm in the glow of a Southampton sunset. Cremation has already taken place.

As per Gary's wishes, there will be no service. The family wishes to thank all the nurses and PSW's, especially Barb and Elizabeth.
