HOUGHTLING, Malcolm David It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Dave, at home surrounded by family on March 5, 2012 in his 68th year. PreDeceased by wife Willy (nee Hendriks), parents Arthur and Mary (nee Benton), brothers Bill and Art, sisters Norma and Lillian. Loved by his children Amanda from Dundas and Matthew from Victoria, B.C. Gramps to his best buds Austin and Oliver. Dave will be sadly missed by his brother Jack (Liz) and his sister Mary "Mert" (Edward "Carp" Carpenter) along with many nieces and nephews and long time friends Sheila and Richard Denault from Clarenceville, Quebec.

David spent 28 years servicing this great community of Dundas as a Fire Fighter.

Friends will be received by the family on Friday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until the time of David's Service at 1:00 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Cremation has taken place. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Emmanuel House would be appreciated by the family.
