Gary Robert Fitzpatrick January 30, 1946 - August 4, 2025

		Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday August 4, 2025. Gary Fitzpatrick, of Paris, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Susan (nee Amy-2017). Loving Dad of Russ (Lisa) Fitzpatrick. Grandpa Gary of Samantha (Dean) and Madison. Great-grandpa of Kendall and Gwen. Predeceased by his son Steven Fitzpatrick. Gary will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Gary was a proud Firefighter with the Hamilton Fire Department from 1971 until his retirement in 1998. Throughout his 27-year career, he exemplified courage, compassion, and commitment to the brotherhood of firefighters. In his early days Gary was a devoted member of the United States Marine Corps.  Family & friends are welcome to the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Saturday August 9, 2025 from 11-1 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Gary’s memory can be made to the Cancer Research Society. 519-449-1112.
