Association Dues & Donations
     

    Dues Membership Period    
         
    The Hamilton Fire Department Pensioner's Association membership year is the period from January 1 to December 31. The collection of dues shall begin January 1st of each year and continue to March 31st. On April 1st, all members that have not renewed their dues shall be determined to be 'Dormant' members. All members with accounts that are 'in-good-standing' shall be considered to be 'Active' members.    
         
    Article 03.02 stipulates that dues shall be $10 per year    
         
    Active members shall be able to vote at quarterly general meetings;

Active members that have registered EMail addresses shall receive all periodic emails regarding Association news;

Active members that receive notification by Canada Post shall receive minutes and newsletters quarterly, following the quarterly general meetings. They shall also receive notifications regarding important Association business;

    If a receipt is required, please enclose a "stamped, self-addressed" envelope with your dues and a note that a receipt is required.    
         
         
    Pay Dues at Quarterly Meetings    
         
    The Treasurer will accept payments at any quarterly meetings, (second Tuesday of March, June, September, or December). Please arrive early to not delay the beginning of the meeting; or,    
         
   

Envelopes for dues will be provided. Confirmation will be sent to paying members by email.

If a receipt is required, please enclose a "stamped, self-addressed" envelope with your dues and a note that a receipt is required.

   
         

  Correct funds are preferrable or payment by cheque. We do not have the ability to accept credit cards or debit payments.
   
         
    However payment by Interac e-Transfer from your banking institution is preferrable.    
         
    Pay Dues by Interac e-Transfer    
         
    The Hamilton Fire Department Pensioners Association is accepting payments by the use of Email or Interac e-Transfers.    
         
    Due to security precautions, for instructions on how to send us an Interac e-Transfer request instructions by sending an email to info@hamiltonfirepensioners.ca    
         
         
    Check Payment Status

    A reply by return email will be sent as soon as possible.    
         
    If you are intending to make a payment by Interac e-Transfer, 
request instructions for sending Interac e-Transfers.
   
         
 
         
    Donations    
         
    In accordance with the Constitution, Article 03.02.01    
         
    Any donation to THE GROUP shall be clearly identified as such or it will be assumed that it was intended as prepayment of annual dues.
